My Story

Sina
Khodadadi.

AI Software Engineer in Tehran. I'm a software engineer who is deep in AI, turning messy business processes into machine learning, NLP and optimization systems that people actually rely on.

It started with teaching

In 2020 I co-founded BABAEEE, a non-profit learning platform for gifted students preparing for National Olympiads. I began by building the front end, then moved into recruiting, interviews and sponsorships to keep the organisation alive.

Those four years taught me things no course did: how to hire, how to keep volunteers motivated, and how to keep a useful thing running long after launch day.

From theory to the field

At the University of Tehran I studied computer science, with a focus on information retrieval, data mining and AI, and wrote my thesis on few-shot learning for hand pose estimation. At Sharif I researched algorithms that combine forecasting and backcasting for time series, work that continues today.

Since June 2025 I've been an AI Software Engineer at Orchid Pharmed, building production systems across pharmaceutical distribution and support, from RAG assistants to sales target allocation and constraint-based workforce scheduling.

What I care about

Honest evaluation and clear ownership. I write the baseline before the model, keep a source attached to every generated claim, and treat business rules and network failures as design inputs rather than surprises.

Outside my day job, I'm Technical Lead at Apex Labs, an applied AI engineering studio in Tehran, where we build systems like Marja and Marja Intelligence.

Baselines first.

Evidence always.

Then ship it.
